Cat, Bat, Bird Hawk

I wonder how reality really seems. The pictures our eyes are feeding us aren't this nice and neat. Science shows us constantly that the brain is filling in gaps, making sense where there is no sense to be had.

Did you ever have a Viewmaster as a kid? The plastic viewfinder you'd press to your face, and spin a circular disk from image to image.

I'm old enough to remember those days.

How would the world look if we were viewing it through the whites of our eyes? Or holding our eyes to our face like binoculars. Would our grasping fingers get caught in the lens?

Original is mixed media (watercolor, marker, gel pen, colored pencil, pen) on paper.
